As a scholar, educator and academic entrepreneur I strive to make an impact in the world.

 

I have served as an invited keynote speaker in Norway, Netherlands, Finland, Germany, and Sweden.  am an experienced public speaker; I have been appointed several expert assignments in Finnish media and e.g. gave a TEDx talk in 2018. You can find my published talks in Blog and videos.

I am the founder and CEO of RockHubs Ltd., a social enterprise that helps to create accessible music communities in diverse, intergenerational living environments. Apart from regular music activities, we organize mobile workshops, live performances and livestream jams, community development workshops, and consultancy. We have a certification program for establishing independent Hubs in Finland and abroad. We have collaboration with the City of Helsinki, Setlementtiasunnot Oy, Betesda-säätiö and Pro Lapinlahti in Finland as well as Université Laval in Canada.
